Sheila has lived with her family in Lake Charles for over seventeen years and received her degree from McNeese State University with a concentration in Housing and Kitchen Design. She also has extensive training in Universal Design, Designing for Accessibility, as well as Aging in Place. She's been practicing interior design for over 15 years, and has projects ranging from residential to healthcare throughout the local area and Colorado. In addition, she's won numerous Excellence in Design awards for her work including the ASID 2013 Ovation Award for Residential Design Project of the Year which is chosen from projects throughout the Louisiana/Mississippi/Arkansas District.

Her philosophy of design is centered around a Lou Holtz quote: "People don't care what you know until they know that you care." The process should be as stress free, client-focused, and as creative as possible…the end result is a project that addresses the client's needs, reflects their lifestyle, and surpasses their expectations.
